The project

We recently delivered the joinery and furniture package for the Cluster E learning space at Caulfield Grammar’s Wheelers Hill Campus — a calm, contemporary environment designed to support focused learning, collaboration, group gatherings and quiet reflection.

A palette of soft, natural greens sets the tone, creating a grounded and calming atmosphere throughout the light-filled space. Custom workstations in Laminex Milkwood introduce warmth and consistency, each thoughtfully designed with integrated shelving for books and dedicated storage for student bags, ensuring the space remains organised and clutter-free.

Upholstered ottomans in Warwick Copeland Greenstone and Hunter add depth and texture, complemented by perimeter bench seating in matching tones. Moveable solid timber side tables provide flexibility, allowing students to create adaptable learning zones that suit individual and group activities.

At the centre of the space, Milkwood-top tables paired with white powdercoated frames and olive green polypropylene chairs deliver a clean, contemporary aesthetic. Nearby, Milkwood coffee tables with angled legs are surrounded by ottomans in Warwick Copeland Greenstone, forming a soft, inviting setting for informal learning and downtime.

An Autex Savoye acoustic pinboard introduces texture while helping to manage sound, contributing to a calm and productive environment.

Flooded with natural light, the finished space feels cohesive, uplifting and thoughtfully resolved from every angle.
