The project

The outdoor spaces at Donvale Christian College have been elevated through a considered suite of custom furniture, designed to bring clarity, cohesion and purpose to the campus environment.
Flowing bench forms and clean linear elements work together to define movement and gathering zones, softening the built environment while establishing inviting, student‑centred spaces.

A palette of Enviroslat in walnut is paired with galvanised steel, powdercoated in Dulux Protexture Dark Bronze, creating a balance of warmth and durability. In key areas, compact laminate in an Australian Native finish by Polytec introduces a refined, solid surface — adding contrast while maintaining a cohesive material language across the project.

Positioned against architectural edges and integrated with landscaped zones, each piece reinforces a connection between structure and nature. The result is a series of calm, functional outdoor settings that support connection, pause and everyday campus life with a strong, unified design expression.
